JW Marriott Absheron Baku - Guest Room Lighting Management

The JW Marriott Absheron Baku, designed by London-based ReardonSmith Architects, equipped all 243 of its guest rooms and suites with Zumtobel's ZBOX lighting management system. A single Circle control point - about the size of a standard light switch - gives guests intuitive access to pre-set lighting scenes for everyday activities such as getting ready, watching TV, reading, and relaxing in the bath, while the system also integrates dimming, presence detection, door-lock status, and motorized blinds control. By tying room lighting into the building's central management system, the hotel achieves energy savings of up to 25% without compromising guest comfort.
